What is Hyggie Home?
It is said to be the happiest way of life in the world.
This is a new custom-built home brand that is based on the Nordic lifestyle of "Hygge" and is designed to cater to the lifestyles of its residents.
We have taken over the tradition of building homes that prioritize the health of the residents from "Marukiku Construction," a company that has been designing and constructing homes in our hometown of Kariya for 60 years.
We build "real homes" that are warm and comfortable and protect the health of those who live there.

A Danish and Norwegian word that conveys the nuance of a "cozy atmosphere." It also means "bonds with friends" and "compassion." If awareness is about looking inward, hygge is about looking outward, at your connections with people and the things around you. It's about finding joy in the little things in your life and in your interactions with people.

We have taken over the tradition of building homes that prioritize the health of the residents from Marukiku Construction, a local company in Kariya City that was founded 60 years ago, and we are creating "real homes" that are warm and comfortable and protect the health of the people who live there.
To make as much as possible by hand
While many companies and construction firms outsource their carpentry work, Marukiku Construction in Kariya City employs carpenters as employees. Recently, home construction has become increasingly divided into different parts, and even here in Kariya City, it is rare for a company to employ its own carpenters.
However, with the approach that many companies take, "When we get a job, we'll hire a carpenter," responsibility inevitably becomes unclear. Even for a carpenter, if his or her job is only to erect pillars and lay floors, it is likely that the carpenter will not be able to see the building completed, much less feel any affection for the completed house. At Marukiku Construction, we also use pre-cut lumber, but basically each craftsman carves the wood themselves. For this reason, we have a 330-square-meter workshop. Use natural materials
I am really glad that we have continued our company here in Kariya, focusing on wooden houses. There are many good things, such as convenient petroleum products and building materials, but
We all love wood, and the feel and smell of it gives us a sense of gentleness.
There are buried forests all over the country that have been buried underground for thousands of years. Many of them are ancient cedar trees, and when you put your nose close to a piece of them, you can still smell the cedar even after thousands of years.
